Another opening, another show... The Geffen Playhouse, one of the premiere venues for live theatre in the Los Angeles area, was looking to develop logos for each of their 2006-2007 season productions. Jay Toffoli was hired to create unique and distinctive icons tailored to the themes of each show. Productions varied from the world premiere of Carrie Fisher’s one-woman show, Wishful Drinking to David Mamet’s Tony-nominated Speed The Plow. A total of six show logos were produced for use throughout the eleven-month season. The icons were used in a variety of applications including a system of citywide banners, marquee posters, and website promotions. |
